ABOUT KEN MCCARTY

Ken resides in Chugiak / Eagle River and is a business owner and employer. He currently is in private practice as a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. He brings over 35 years of professional experience as a business owner, psycho therapist, clinical supervisor, administrator, and educator. He is also an adjunct professor to the University of Anchorage, Alaska.

Ken is the Executive Director / Owner of Discovery Cove Recovery and Wellness Center; former president of the Alaska Association of Marital and Family Therapists; former board member of the Alaska Professional Licensing Board of Marital Family Therapists; former secretary of the Alaska Collaborative of Telemedicine and Teletherapy; and former Trustee of the Alaska Mental Health Trust.

Ken knows how to listen. He wants to listen to you and will listen to others in order to vote effectively on your issues.
